With the shift of emphasis from centralized to decentralized planning the main effort of the department is on integration of input processes products of planning at institutional & district level with the onset of liberalization of the economy the focus has also shifted to strategic indicative rather then comprehensive planning the department prepares annual program with the help of different wings of institute &also provides consultation to various bodies.

 In view of the capacity building of academic staff & institutions current emphasis is an total quality management in education delivered through various means another important focus is on planning & management resources in education.

§        Arranging meeting (annual) of “diet paramarsh-datri committee Admission & examination of D.ed.
