Examination/Evolution:

Due to right to education act -2009 the concept of examination has been changed to continuous & comprehensive evaluation therefore there will be no exam up to class VIII

Evaluation is a process, which is both qualitative as well as qualitative in nature .it helps build an education programmer, assess its achievements and improve upon its effectiveness. it serves as an in  -built monitor with in the programmer to review , from  time to time ,the  progress in learning .it also provides valuable feedback on the design & implement of the programmer.

  In education evaluation procedures serve as a tool not to measure the extent of achievement of  the education objective but also to develop review and modify suitably the educational objective &the learning experiences in an on- going process of course the evaluation procedures too get developed reviewed & learning experiences.

 

 PURPOSES OF EVALUATION:-

 

Diagnosis:-     to locate and to identify the weakness /lapses in learning.

 

Predication:- to discover potential abilities & aptitudes which eventually can be  developed into expertise in a given field of learning or career.

 

Selection :-  it help in the selection of suitable persons for a course or career.

 

Grading :-evaluation help us rank order the learners of a given group.

 

Guidance :-to assists a person in making decision about courses as careers. 

Function of evaluation:-

1.      it ascertains that how far could learning objectives be achieved.

2.      it diagnoses the weakness of instructional procedures & provides the basis for remediation.

 

3.      it provides the empirical evidences about the effectiveness of teaching strategies tactic & aid & suggests some modifications & improvement.

4.      it give reinforcement & feedback to teacher & student.

5.      it help in developing a comprehensive criterion test

         the criterion test plays a significant role in the process of evaluation all the about function are accomplished on the basis of criterion test performance.
